As a proud past pupil of Bishop’s College, it is both a privilege and a deeply humbling experience to serve my alma mater since 2021. My years at Bishop’s College—enriched by academics, extracurricular involvement, faith, and fellowship—played a significant role in shaping my character and preparing me for higher studies in the United States.
After obtaining my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education, I served as a teacher in the United States before returning to Sri Lanka, where I spent nine years in the teaching profession. During this time, I also served as a Sectional Head, gaining valuable leadership experience, before returning to Bishop’s College.
Rooted in a rich Anglican heritage, Bishop’s College has, for over a century and a half, nurtured generations of young women through an inclusive and holistic education shaped by values of tradition, community, and unity in diversity. Today, more than ever, we remain committed to providing a well-rounded learning experience that honours our past while embracing the future.

I thank and praise God for the opportunity He has given me to give back to the institution that shaped me, and for the privilege of serving Bishop’s College. May God bless us all, and may He continue to bless Bishop’s College as we celebrate 150 years of grace, growth, and gratitude.
