Tennis is one of the most popular and exciting sports in the world, known for its fast paced rallies, intense competition, and global appeal. 

At Bishop’s College, we combine skills, rigorous training, team spirit, and unwavering determination. Whether in singles or doubles, players support each other and grow through healthy competition. Regular training session are conducted twice a week. Guided by passionate coaches, more than 50 students from all age categories from U13 to U19  give their all, to grow stronger together.

Some of the past achievements of our team,

• Bishop’s College emerged overall girls’ Champions at the Sri Lanka, Inter- School tennis tournament 2025

• U12 Division 2, U14 Division 2 and U18 Division 3, placed Runner’s Up at the Arjan Perera Memorial Trophy 2024.
• Bishop’s College placed Overall Division 3 Champions.

 The team initiated an exciting new tradition called “Doubles Day” to help strengthen the bond between the players.  It was a wonderful day that brought us closer together and boosted our team spirit.

As we celebrate these successes, we are confident that with continued efforts and support from the school, we will reach  greater heights in the future, providing more opportunities for our students to shine.
