Swimming
Although swimming has long been a part of Bishop’s College, it was not until the construction of the school’s very own swimming pool in 2009 that the sport truly began to flourish. Prior to that, the team trained off-site with limited access and resources. The establishment of the pool marked a turning point, allowing for more consistent training, the development of younger swimmers, and a renewed enthusiasm for the sport within the school community.
Swimming is one of the most active and widely participated sports in the school. It brings together students from every grade, starting from the youngest in the primary section to the most senior girls in the upper school. Swimming is also included within the school timetable for the primary section, to ensure the students receive structured training as a part of their curriculum.
