Art Society

The Art Society of Bishop’s College was inaugurated with the objective of showcasing the diverse talents of students, in the form of art.The Society encourages students to express their thoughts, feelings and creativity through various visual art forms.

The memeber’s of the Art Society carry out numerous projects periodically. Every year the inter-house art competition is held for students from grades 6 to 14 to showcase their talents.The Art Society’s annal trip to Kandy gives the students the opportunity to visit some of the most historical and iconic places in Sri Lankan such as Gadaladeniya, Lanka thilaka, Ambakke, Dalada Maligawa and Trinity College Kandy.The annual art exhibition which is held biannually is one of the most anticipated events for the students.

In addition to the above events we hope to conduct workshops, joint events and many more exciting projects throughout the year.
