BC PPA & STC OBA “Back to Stage” Jt. Production

The ‘BackToStage’ Joint Production is the second production between the STC OBA and BC PPA, the last one being “Divorce Me Darling”, held in 2016.

The abundance of talent and fellowship was evident within the present and past pupils. Sonali Dias and Rukshan Kuru Uthumpala co-chaired the production. The production directors were Shadwell Weerasinghe and Nafeesa Amiruddeen and Co-Directed by Shyama Perera and Sanjeev Jayaratnam.

The concept was curated by Shadwell Weerasinghe when we were deliberating on an affordable yet significantly special concept. Much to the surprise of the audience the Principal of Bishop’s College Mrs Chemali Herath and the STC Sub-warden Mr Asanka Perera took to the stage accompanied by the Vice Principal of BC Ms Chrishnika Galbadage on flute and Shyama Perera on Keyboards. The show was applauded, commended and much talked about by all.
