Adithaalama

In keeping with our ‘towards 150’ activities, “Adithaalama”, the first ever show of dance and drums presented by the students of the Primary Section, was showcased on the 11th and the 12th of May of 2023 at the Bishop’s College Auditorium. 129 little girls ranging from 7 to 10 years of age took part in this production, which was a resounding success. For the first time in the recent past, a troupe of 12 girls played the ‘Magul Bera’ in unison to declare open the extravaganza. The Bishop of Colombo along with members of the Board of Governors, members of the PPA, the PTA, the Zonal Director for private schools and many other distinguished guests graced this occasion.

The Primary dance troupes of Methodist College, Ladies College, and S Thomas’ Preparatory School collaborated with Bishop’s College in this unique endeavour.
