CRICKET

Cricket has been started at Bishop’s College in the year 2014 and the team was captained by Mandani Tennekoon, trained by Mr. Manoj Millawithanachchi. Cricket team of Bishop’s College has excelled in our achievements since 2014 up-to date. We have participated in All-Island competitions several times and won Provincial and Zonal Level tournaments as well. Bishop’s College and Appe Lanka Organization together with organise friendly Cricket encounters annually, to encourage the co-existence in different ethnicities. Recently Bishop’s College invited the students of Mukkompan Maha Vidyalaya of Jaffna and hosted the event too. Bishop’s College Cricket team has proudly produced National level Cricket players to the Nation too.
