Present Prefects

The Prefects’ Guild of Bishop’s College consists of 25 prefects, who are chosen from Grades 12 and 13. This selection is done irrespective of race or religion and is based on their good performance in academic and extra-curricular activities. The Head Prefect and Deputy Head Prefect are chosen by vote of the senior staff members, in January. The post of Deputy Head Prefect was introduced this year. The new batch of prefects is chosen in May, after the departure of the senior prefects who sat for their A/Levels. They too are chosen by the teachers’ vote.
