Events for 2004

Saree Party

One of the main events in the calendar of a Grade 13 student is the annual Saree Party, which is the traditional farewell party held for the outgoing A/L batch by the Grade 13s. It was held on the 5th of June 2004. The main organizers for this event were the Prefects, who worked together with the rest of the Grade to make this event a successful and memorable one.

Bishopian Walk

The Bishopian Walk was held on the 12th of June 2004. Shown below are the Prefects having fun at the Walk.

Bhakthi Gee

On the 1st of July 2004, the Prefects not only attended to their duties at the Bhakthi Gee programme but also took part in it. The entire Prefects’ Guild, clad in the traditional Kandyan Saree, sang the famous song ‘Peenamuko Kalu Gange’ as the final item in the programme.

St. Margaret’s Fair

The St. Margaret’s Fair was held on the 24th of July 2004. This is yet another annual event in which not only the Prefects, but the whole school pitches in to help, as a tribute to the Sisters of St. Margaret, who took care of Bishop’s College from 1887 to 1955.
